About Devin
Devin Stewart is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who works with adult individuals and couples in both virtual and in-person settings. He specializes in supporting clients who are navigating substance use, open or polyamorous relationships, general relational issues, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.
Therapy with Devin includes a range of strategies, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. This flexible approach allows him to meet clients where they are and match them with a theory that best fits their current headspace, helping to create a strong and effective therapeutic bond.
Devin believes that healing begins by finding stability and learning how to work with the flow of life rather than against it. His goal is to help clients understand negative or skewed thoughts and perceptions of distressing events by approaching them from a different angle, in a more positive and beneficial light.
Outside of the therapy room, Devin enjoys weight training and playing games—both on the board and on the computer. He graduated from Texas State University with a Master’s in Counseling and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is SAMA, CAT, CPR, and SOAR certified and has received training in substance use management and motivational interviewing.
